![]() ![]() A calling is held where the eldest of each house is called to compete in the Trial, to fight for the throne alongside their dragons. There are five houses: House Aurun, House Volscia, House Sabel, House Tiber and House Pentri. There is a map, I love maps, which makes it more interesting to see where the different houses are located as well as Dragonspire (located on the Imperial Peninsula) where the final challenge takes place and the winner (Emperor or Empress) is crowned. ![]() ![]() In this thrilling story, we meet five competitors from five different houses scattered around the world, Etrusia. But when I look at this book I can see a part of me is pressed between the pages, just like flowers that are pressed between the pages of a book. I basically devoured this book, some of the pages are bent and here and there are some smudges. This was such a thrilling read! First off, I enjoyed reading this book so much that it’s evident on the pages. ![]() House of Dragons is Jessica Cluess’ fourth book, but the first book in the House of Dragons series.
